Quentin Hair

Quentin's hair is that inspired by that of the classic rockabilly look; much like Claudia and her look that is inspired by her age and what she sees on the television. My model I decided to use was in fitting with the character I had designed for True Blood, the dark hair that was long enough to style. In fact I thought of my model pretty soon into the project planning. The hair itself will be pretty simple to do. As I'm shooting my shoot with Quentin at home I'll ask my model to wash his hair before I start to style it. The hair then will be slicked back using gel when went then blowdrying dry to hold.

Hair Chart's
All the hair charts have been designed with the inspiration above. all classic in styling with rockabilly quiffs.

Chart one is extremely neat with a small side parting, parting the quiff and sides of the hair. The front of the hair itself is then left slightly textured. I've included the bearding detailing as my model will have a light one and slight shadowing.

In this design the beard is exactly the same. The hairstyle is dried different aiming more for a slightly off the middle quiff.

This design will be the one I've decided to use for my Quentin shoot/character. I decided to make the quiff a little different and not completely up with the detailing of a few loose hairs placed on the forehead so the hair itself looks slightly more rugged and lived in. I don't want my Quentin to look like he's just walked out a hair salon. The bearding on the design is also similar to the rest of the designs having not a clean shaven face but a extremely short covering.
